OBAMA’S REVENGE

Once upon a time, a white teenager from Kansas got pregnant by her black Kenyan boyfriend, Barack Obama Sr., or was it her husband? Whatever. (I say whatever because we’ve never seen either marriage or divorce certificates). Some say the couple was in Kenya visiting relatives when the birth of their son, Barack Obama Jr., occurred. No matter. (I say no matter because we’ve never seen an authentic birth certificate). By the time the baby was two years old his father abandoned him for his other wife and child in Kenya. I wonder how toddler Barry felt when his father left him, and never reappeared until a single time when the boy was 10. Bewildered? Sad? Lonely? Angry?

What do two-year-olds do with those feelings? It didn’t take long for Barry’s mother to meet and marry an Indonesian native named Lolo Soetoro. They moved to Indonesia, where her child became Barry Soetoro, took on Indonesian citizenship, and was presumably schooled in public, Christian, and Muslim schools. (I say presumably because we’ve never seen those school records). But when Barry was 10 years old, his mother sent him back to the U.S. to be raised by her parents, Madelyn and Stanley Dunham, although she kept her baby daughter Maya Soetoro with her. I wonder how the by-now fully-sentient young Barry felt when his mother sent him packing. Sad? Jealous of the baby who remained behind with mommy? Confused and dizzy by the disparate cultures – languages, customs, foods, sights, sounds, schooling – he had experienced? Resentful? What did Barry do with those feelings? By the time he was 10, the boy had been abandoned three times – by his father, stepfather, and mother. And although he was raised by his white grandparents in Hawaii – where “people of color” were not his color – he found out soon enough that his mixed-race background rendered him, in effect, an outsider. Did that make him feel self-conscious, indignant, victimized? But he wasn’t altogether an outsider. In Hawaii, young Barry met Frank Marshall Davis, his first and perhaps most influential mentor. The infamous Marshall, a Communist activist (and self-confessed pedophile) taught Barry – was it Obama, Soetero, Dunham? – that white people were the devil incarnate and that blacks were the most “victimized” people on earth.

Yet the abandoned and rejected child was lucky. His white-devil grandparents gave him a comfortable life in Hawaii, and an education that apparently qualified him to attend several prestigious schools – Occidental College in CA, Columbia Univ. in NY City, and Harvard Law School in Cambridge, MA.(I say apparently qualified because we’ve never seen any of his college transcripts).

BARRY MORPHS INTO BARACK

After his undergraduate days at Columbia, Obama chose not to go to graduate school, but instead held various jobs in the Big Apple and then moved toChicago to become a community organizer. Although he had been exposed to American exceptionalism through his life in the United States and his privileged education, it is clear that his experiences in impoverished Kenya and totalitarian Indonesia, as well as his exposure to Marshall and the other radicals he had met during his years in New York – among them the unrepentant domestic terrorists William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn of Weather Underground infamy – made the deepest and most lasting impressions. Their messages of American imperialism and its white-devil culture clearly resonated in the thrice-abandoned boy. In his young-adult and adult years, free to choose his friends and pursuits, he opted exclusively for far-left socialists and Marxists, and activities aimed at relieving the suffering of people he perceived to be as victimized as apparently he felt he had been. He understood their feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and impotent rage, as well as the pain of fatherlessness. After all, his Harvard-educated father consciously chose to leave him. And his mother gave him away. Was that depressing to Barry? Infuriating?

When given the opportunity to join one of dozens of churches in Chicago, Barry– who had morphed into Barack – opted for the Trinity United Church of Christ, which was led by the fire-breathing Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose decades-long anti-American and anti-Semitic rants apparently resonated in Obama’s rejected and abandoned heart and soul. (I say apparently resonated because in over 20 years of regular attendance, Obama said he heard nothing inflammatory or anti-American, and we’ve never seen the videotapes of any sermon, although each one was unfailingly recorded). “God damn America,” Wright raged. “The chickens have come home to roost,” he “preached” to his whooping and hollering congregation after 9/11. Obama heard nothing. But it wasn’t only Wright who Obama was attracted to in Chicago. He was also drawn to another hate-spewing radical, Rev. Louis Farrakhan, as well as to the raving Father Michael Phleger, the radical Islamist Rashid Khalidi, his friends and neighbors the Ayers, and to equally-close friends “Tony” and Rita Rezko– Tony being the notorious “fixer” and now-convicted-and-imprisoned felon for fraud, bribery, and money laundering. What did the seemingly mild-mannered Obama find so irresistible in these angry and/or crooked people and others like them? Was it the same thing that a shy man finds in his attraction to a flamboyant girlfriend – and alter-ego, a person who expresses what he really feels but is unable to give voice to?

In these relationships and in community organizing – which offers inner-city mostly-black residents job training, tutoring, and methods to organize tenants’-rights groups and voter-registration drives, etc. – the twenty-something Obama apparently found his calling, and also a renewed and burning ambition.

This leads me to only one conclusion, which I wrote about in a former article: “Obama: The Trojan Horse.” My theory is that President Obama’s narcissistic charm, even temperament, skill with words (teleprompter included), hunger to please, radical agenda, and subterranean rage at the “unfair” American system have been brilliantly exploited by powerful leftist radicals and Marxists in the United States, who for decades have plotted America’s path to socialism. He is their pawn, totally dispensable but handy while the “aura” lasts. These “handlers” saw in Obama the ideal blank slate on which to actualize their agenda, and they made sure the slate remained blank by concealing (or destroying) any evidence of his past, including his birth certificate, Selective Service record, visa(s), school transcripts, and other vital documents. All of which is costing his moneyed backers – including America-loathing billionaire George Soros – multimillions in lawyers’ fees to fight the proliferating lawsuits that seek the truth about this stealth president. In fact, former ambassador Alan Keyes, one of the many plaintiffs seeking proof of Obama’s American citizenship, has reported that Obama’s lawyers have now filed a motion “to quash our effort to obtain the relevant documents…[which] confirms Obama’s ruthless determination to destroy anyone who continues to seek the information the Constitution requires. Obama thus signals his intent to bring financial ruin on those who won’t accept his cover-up of the circumstances of his birth is a tactical escalation. It confirms the common sense suspicion that he won’t act forthrightly in this matter because he has something to hide.”

It is clear that Obama and his fellow radicals are restive. In the less-than four weeks of his presidency, the new president has taken volumes from the Marxian handbook, which dictates that the stupid masses be blitzed with an overload of information, hollow press conferences, appointments, dismantling of formerly effective national-security programs, et al., in order to set the stage for a massive, Soviet-style takeover of our government, including a civilian national security force that Obama has said should be “just as powerful, strong and well-funded as the U.S. military.” Echoes of Nazi Germany in 1938, anyone? According to writer Kyle-Anne Shrive, in Obama’s ascendance: “We have yet to see a more perfect collision of Murphy’s Law with the Peter Principle. In only three weeks’ time, [he] has signaled to every terrorist on the planet that we are a sorry, groveling, ashamed nation ready to come to the diplomatic confessional. He is closing Gitmo within one year, has suspended trials there, and dismissed the charges against the U.S.S. Cole plotter. [He] has just put our money where his mouth is and is using $20.3 million to bring in Palestinian refugees from Gaza…[he] had the gall to pronounce the so-called economic stimulus bill absolutely free of `earmarks’ and `make-do work’…but according to the Congressional Budget Office [this bill] will do worse to our overall economy than no government action whatsoever.”

And Obama has done all this with the predictable double-speak that characterizes malevolent intention, i.e., touting transparency while concealing everything, speaking of integrity while appointing crooks and incompetents riddled with conflicts-of-interest, supporting energy independence while killing off-shore and domestic oil-drilling and nuclear power, and feigning optimism while he speaks of impending “catastrophe” in order to push through a pork-laden, trillion-dollar-plus Stimulus plan that rewards the corrupt voter-fraud organization Acorn with billions and unions with discriminatory union-only labor agreements, paves the way for socialized medicine, and threatens to take away the most cherished rights of We The People. As blogger Eric Gurr has said: “We still talk about the health care crisis, the environmental crisis, the oil crisis, the banking crisis. Let me tell you my friends you are about to learn the meaning of the only crisis that matters, the survival crisis.” You can be sure that the sad-lonely-angry two-year-old, the jealous-confused-resentful 10-year-old, the self-conscious- cheated-victimized adolescent, and the man who found solace in and identified with his hate-America mentors is now determined to redeem all of his demons.

Unfortunately, he is acting out his rage on free-market capitalism, a free press, property and gun rights, a limited constitutional government, protection of the unborn, and everything else that is good and great about our country.

Interesting idea. But keep in mind that tax dollars also support our teachers, police force, fire fighters and other services that aren't abusive to the American people. withholding tax payments won't force this Administration to 'change' it's more likely to force budget cuts to needed services while waste continues in other areas. It's imperative to vote in decent people, force fraud out of Washington and use your voices to enact change.

VIETNAM VETERANS AND JANE FONDA http://h-net.msu.edu/cgi-bin/logbrowse.pl?trx=vx&list=H-War&month=1001&week=c&msg=Z04y7EXUjufYP1W%2BcnjP3g As you might imagine, Tanya Roth's review of Mary Hershberger's new book, Jane Fonda's War ( http://www.h-net.org/reviews/showrev.php?id=24410 ), has been circulating among Vietnam veterans on the Web -- and not everyone is convinced that her motivation was "support[ing] the military." With the thought that your readers might benefit from an alternative viewpoint --entirely my individual views, I should emphasize -- permit me to join the debate. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of Jane Fonda, but it may be useful to add some facts to the equation. On July 14, 1972, while in the Democratic Republic of [North] Vietnam, Jane Fonda made this broadcast over Radio Hanoi directed to U.S. military personnel: "This is Jane Fonda speaking from Hanoi, and I'm speaking particularly to the U.S. servicemen who are stationed on the aircraft carriers in the Gulf of Tonkin . . . . I don't know what your officers tell you you are loading, those of you who load the bombs on the planes. But, one thing that you should know is that these [toxic chemical] weapons are illegal . . . . And the use of these bombs makes one a war criminal. The men who are ordering you to use these weapons are war criminals according to international law, and in the past, in Germany and in Japan, men who were guilty of these kind of crimes were tried and executed. . . ." I remember this well, because while Ms. Fonda was in Hanoi I was a Fellow at Stanford's Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace researching what became the first major English-language history of Vietnamese Communism. I was closely following the North Vietnamese media on a daily basis. (I don't believe that Ms. Fonda has denied making this and other broadcasts over Radio Hanoi.) While in North Vietnam, Ms. Fonda voluntarily sat in the chair of a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun and with a grin on her face pretended that she was shooting down airplanes. (The only function of those guns at the time was to try to shoot down American military aircraft and the airmen inside them.) In her autobiography she admits that she was wearing a People's Army of Vietnam helmet and "laughing" and "applauding" all the while. [JaneFonda, My Life So Far, pp. 315-16.] Less than a year later, when American POWs were released from Hanoi and recounted tales of torture and abuse, Ms. Fonda declared that they were "liars." The Vietnam War was authorized by a 99.6% majority of Congress by joint resolution -- the same type of statute historically used by Congress to formally "declare war." Article III, Clause 3, section 1 of the U.S. Constitution establishes that: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court." Did Ms. Fonda's voluntarily traveling to North Vietnam in violation of United States law and her radio broadcasts trying to persuade our military personnel to refuse to carry out their orders give "aid and comfort" to our enemy? In addition to being self-evident, the point is readily confirmed by individuals who were senior Vietnamese Communist officials at the time. North Vietnamese Army Col. Bui Tin commanded the tank column that broke through the gates of the South Vietnamese Presidential Palace on April 30, 1975, ending the war. He later served as Deputy Editor of Nhan Dan, North Vietnam's daily newspaper. In an interview with an American scholar later excerpted in the Wall Street Journal, he explained: "[The anti-war movement] was essential to our strategy. . . . Every day our leadership would listen to world news over the radio at 9 a.m. to follow the growth of the American antiwar movement. Visits to Hanoi by people like Jane Fonda . . . gave us confidence that we should hold on in the face of battlefield reversals." [Wall Street Journal, Aug. 3, 1995, p. 8.] Another witness to confirm the tremendous importance of the American anti-war movement was Truong Nhu Tang, Minister of Justice for the Viet Cong's "Provisional Revolutionary Government" at the time of Fonda's visit. He later wrote: "The idea that continued American intervention was immoral was gaining widespread credence in the United States, according to our intelligence analysts, not only among the militant antiwar groups, but in the population generally. These were the signs that told us the offensive was a success, and at this stage of the war we received them with as much satisfaction as we received news of any military victory." [Truong Nhu Tang, A Viet Cong Memoir, pp. 209-10.] I would add that, since the end of the war, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has openly admitted key facts that totally undermine many of the core arguments relied upon by Ms. Fonda and other (presumably sincere) anti-war activists. To mention just one example, the argument that the Vietnam war was not really an American response to North Vietnamese military aggression intended to overthrow South Vietnam by force can hardly be seriously made today. Among other places, in a cover story in the monthly journal Vietnam Courier in May 1984, Hanoi bragged openly about the once "absolute secret" decision made on May 19, 1959 to open the Ho Chi Minh Trail and start sending tens of thousands of soldiers and tons of military equipment into South Vietnam to overthrow its government. [Vietnam Courier, May 1984, pp. 9-15.] This was more than five years before Congress authorized the president to send U.S. military units into combat to protect South Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. There is one other aspect of this issue that needs to be addressed – the human costs of the success of Jane Fonda, John Kerry, and others in the anti-war movement in pressuring Congress to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. (In May 1973, Congress enacted a statute prohibiting the expenditure of treasury funds for combat activities by U.S. military forces anywhere in Indochina. This led North Vietnam's Premier Pham Van Dong to declare "The Americans won't come back now even if we offer them candy," and North Vietnam sent virtually its entire army to conquer its neighbors behind columns of Soviet-made tanks.) Writing five years ago in Foreign Affairs, Yale Professor John Lewis Gaddis observed: "Historians now acknowledge that American counter-insurgency operations in Vietnam were succeeding during the final years of that conflict; the problem was that support for the war had long since crumbled at home." [Gaddis, Foreign Affairs, Jan-Feb 2005.] Put simply, we were winning the war by 1971-72. That is a conclusion widely shared by many of us who spent time in Indochina during the early 1970s. One of my jobs as an Army captain on detail to the North Vietnamese/Viet Cong Affairs Division of the American Embassy in Saigon was to investigate incidents of Viet Cong terrorism, and at the request of Harrison Salisbury after leaving the Army I wrote an op-ed in the New York Times in September 1972 warning that a "bloodbath" would follow our abandonment of the people we had repeatedly pledged by treaty and statute to defend . I traveled extensive around Cambodia as a U.S. Senate staff member in May 1974, and my fears were such that in early April 1975 I returned to Indochina in an effort to rescue at least some of the orphans in Cambodia. I was unsuccessful, and most of them perished under Pol Pot. There are various estimates of the total human cost of betraying America's pledge to defend the people of non-Communist Indochina, and the task is all the more difficult in Cambodia, as there had never been a census and thus there were no reliable estimate of the country's population before the genocide that followed the Communist victory. The best study I have seen was by the Yale University Cambodia Genocide Project (http://www.yale.edu/cgp/ ), which estimated that 1.7 million people – more than twenty percent of the entire population of Cambodia -- was slaughtered by Pol Pot's regime. The brutality is captured well by National Geographic Today, which noted in 2003: [http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2003/01/0110_030110_tvcambodia.html]: "Guides explain that bullets were too precious to use for executions. Axes, knives and bamboo sticks were far more common. As for children, their murderers simply battered them against trees. It has been more than thirty-five years since I last visited Cambodia, but the image of tiny children being bashed against trees because America broke its promises continues to haunt me. I am confident that Jane Fonda had a blast during her giggly visits to North Vietnam, and I have no reason to believe that she was not sincere in her belief that she was doing a great thing for the cause of peace and human rights. But she was profoundly mistaken. (Freedom House listed the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as among the "dirty dozen" and the "worst of the worst" human rights abusers for decades after the Communist victory, and the slaughter of the innocent during the first three years of Communist rule in tiny Cambodia alone outnumbered the human costs of the war throughout Indochina during the previous fourteen years.) Ms. Hershberger may sincerely believe that Jane Fonda was really a friend of American soldiers in Vietnam and has been victimized by a "mythology." As someone who worked almost full-time on the Vietnam issue between 1965 and 1975 and continues to teach seminars on the war thirty-five years later, I must confess that I still share the anger that I hear from virtually every Vietnam veteran I know when Jane Fonda's name is mentioned. In my personal view, she clearly committed treason and bears a great deal of personal responsibility for the consequences of her actions. But the pain that I still feel decades later about what America ultimately did to the people of Indochina we had pledged to defend prevents me from wishing that Ms. Fonda understood the consequences of her actions. She seems happy, unrepentant, and as clueless about what transpired after her side "won" as she was about the realities of the war in 1972. I hope she sleeps in peace, because a lot of Vietnam veterans don't. Respectfully, Robert F. Rex Parris recently proclaimed Lancaster, Los Angeles suburb, a growing Christian Community.  Naturally, the announcement sent CAIR and their goon patrol into fetal positions with Ibrahim “my real name is Doug” Hooper, faux-muslim’ convert’ stating his intent to file charges with the civil rights division of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Hooper must be flipping out over Parris’ request for voters to back legislation allowing prayer at city meetings. So what is Hooper’s problem? Islam has their freedom to worship wherever they wish and have been infringing upon the human rights of Americans for many years, pushing Islam in our schools while our culture and religion is shunned. It’s ridiculous. As such, it’s about time that Christians and Jews receive equal standing regarding public worship, culture preservation and freedom of religion. Hooper is citing ‘constitutional violations’ for the basis of his complaint but as Muslims are famous for whining like little girls over everything with exception of terror attacks, his arguments are idiotic.

Interesting as Hooper, CAIR’s National Director used to work for ISLAMIC ASSOCIATION OF PALESTINE (IAP) and published a series of tracts, including “AMERICA’S GREATEST ENEMY: THE JEW AN UNHOLY ALLIANCE” (between ‘Muslim Mafia’ and Hooper’s stupid career choices, I’d say karma’s been biting him in the rear end, period.)

Hooper has stated that he wouldn’t want to create the ‘impression’ that he wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future,  then went on to defend payments of bounties to the families of suicide bombers who kill Jews. While Hooper worked for the IAP, they also published materials including “Hamas Covenant” along with a translation that includes this hadith invoking the inevitable slaughter of all Jews by Muslims before the day of judgement (provided below)

I’d like to thank the Mayor for his statements and hope that anyone interested in preserving AMERICAN culture along with our right to worship and live freely without the fear of Islam threats to speak out and write in support of the Mayor.

We’d encourage Councilwoman Sherry Marquez (who received letters regarding ‘negative impact’ statements) to hold her ground and NOT be bullied or influenced by these individuals. These brave individuals are encouraging in a time of overactive political correctness and our efforts shall do nothing but continue, harder and with greater intensity. Individuals who practice a political ideology that encourages the discrimination, destroying and suffering of other groups are most welcome to leave America and go back to the Middle East.

I have always been a strong willed person, certain of my convictions, not led by peer pressure or others opinions. I've known instinctively since childhood that life begins at conception, a viewpoint held firmly by both sides of our families. Should a woman not wish to become pregnant her choices would be to remain sexually inactive or practice birth control. I believe that choosing abortion is simply termination of life and as such, this life must be protected as valuable.

Four months later, on Thanksgiving, I was cooking for dinner and came down with what felt like the flu. (had not experienced this during my first pregnancy) My sister in law walked into my kitchen and took one look at me and turned around, saying she'd be back in ten minutes. Showing up with a six pack of sprite, animal crackers and a couple of EPT's, she tossed me the bag.

Indeed, we got the reaction we were expecting. Our families were horrified. My mother had been present during the first delivery, witnessing the fiasco and it frightened her. I let her know that I would be careful and that I would be under the care of specialists and that everything would be just fine but she feared I'd bitten off more than I could chew. The others weren't much better.

I made a pro-choice decision, to keep a baby that was living at conception with pro-life specialists who respected our choice and reasons. While I understand it's an emotional issue, especially in situations where pregnancy is the result of a terrible event, I'm unable to reconcile the underlying point that as human beings, the appropriate action might be to separate the psychosocial trauma from the bottom line, preserving life rather than focusing on our own selfish concerns. 

We had a happy outcome, delivering on the baby's due date, Specialists on hand in the event of emergency. But there wasn't one. Everything went off without a hitch. The kid was perfect. 9 pounds, 8 ounces, fat, pink and screaming his head off, sleeping in my arms the first night. He's the love of my life and has been since we first locked eyes.

I believe that our decision was blessed  Nothing could have convinced me to terminate that precious life.

It’s been one hell of a year, friends, and an eye-opening one at that. We’ve seen a new Administration take on Marxist policies with such gusto that were it not so offensive (and embarrassing) I’d almost be impressed.
 
The New President, anti-American Obama, spent most of his first year apologizing for the freedoms we all enjoy, made excuses for America and cuddled with our enemies, bowing down to Dictators on a regular basis.
 
In short, he’s achieved little, except to push forward several very expensive bills, seemingly without reading them, and racking up unbelievable mileage, at OUR expense on Air Force One.

In the Federalist essay #10, Madison warns against a pure democracy, surmising that it could NEVER protect the people from the ‘faction’ of any group’ whose interests he felt represented alien and counterproductive threats to the people, in particular, the taxpayers.

He goes on to describe the ‘control’ that could ultimately dominate through manipulation, alliances and dishonesty, subjecting the minority to legislative abuses.

6) JOHN HOLDREN, stupid, liberal, ideas and philosophies sound like perhaps he went to school somewhere in Pelosi’s area, smoking his weight in weed back in the sixties, then someone forgot to loosen the grip on his restraints.

A friend of mine used to teach at Harvard Medical prior to transferring to Stanford a few years ago. I remember hearing a conversation recently that the facility there (at Mass General) ‘isn’t what it used to be’ and people now go to other Institutions in neighboring states for various reasons, much of it related to the ridiculous political climate in Massachusetts strangling physicians and patients who have elected to remain in the state.

REGARDING EARMARKS, FREEBIES AND ‘STICKY FINGER FAVORS ON THE HILL…’
While many lawmakers, including ‘Dirty Harry’ Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), have ‘proclaimed’ that earmarking has been common since the founding of America, recent research has Harry could benefit from a computer class or two, for a couple of reasons:
 
1)     Madison EXPRESSLY denied the use of monies above and beyond the exact budgetary needs of programs

The idea of allocating federal sums to be ‘guided’ specific pools originally came from Rep. John Calhoun (D-S.C.) when he proposed the Bonus Bill of 1817 to construct highways connecting the South and East of the US to its W frontier. (Formerly, this was known as internal improvements)
Madison said ‘absolutely not, it’s unconstitutional, and vetoed the bill’ feeling that this ‘view’ of the Constitution would give the effect of Congress a general power of legislation instead of a ‘defined and limited’ to understand every object and act within legislative trust – and they were right.
It was eventually abused, and then some. NOW CONGRESS IS USING IT AS THEIR OWN PERSONAL PIGGY BANK.

The level of dishonesty in Congress, the Senate, the Supreme Court, and White House is shocking but the people have made little headway short of promising to change leadership in 2010 and 2012.

5. Notice to Department of Education: Starting in 2010, we want all children who are NOT English speaking REMOVED from our children’s classrooms, until they are 100 % English speaking. As we are paying your salaries with our tax dollars, we fully expect you to comply with our expectations.
Our children are legal citizens, born of this Nation, paying for an education and as such, we expect that they will be taught lessons in our mother language (English) the classes should no longer be split to accommodate Spanish-speaking students.
This is inappropriate to those students who have no interest in Latin studies.
 
6. It is inappropriate to integrate homosexual studies into our children’s curriculum, regardless of what the Obama Administration says. Please be very clear about this.
The parents in our community will tolerate a zero policy agenda for this behavior from you. Yes, we understand your chosen Czar has decided that Kindergarten /age FIVE is appropriate for oral sex training and fisting instruction but we adamantly disagree and will tolerate none of this.
Childhood is a time of innocence, not learning of abhorrent behaviors between certain individuals.

WW II Battleship sailor tells Obama to shape up or ship out!

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,             

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Boss’s Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor, allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

SO HERE GOES:

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish!

I can't figure out what country you are the president of!  You fly around the world telling "our friends and enemies" despicable lies like:  “We’re no longer a Christian nation"   " America is arrogant" - (Your wife even announced to the world, “America is mean-spirited.” Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.) I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals."

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, those 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue. You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts, who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists?

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country (what country is that?) with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're "thinking" of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president. (cough)

You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. (that and Islam)

And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.

ONE NATION UNDER SIEGE

They’re the two little words that can bring the conversation of a dozen people to a screeching halt at a dinner party.

Health care.

Regardless of which side your political bread is buttered on, this debate can divide friendships, dissolve professional relationships and complicate legislative power struggles that can last for days, weeks or decades. (look how long Ted Kennedy carried on)

One remaining question, however, has been one of a somewhat philosophical nature. Is health care a privilege or is it a right?

To Conservatives, such as myself, we would naturally observe our Founding papers, as well as our conscience for the answers to this delicate question. According to The Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.-“

The answer, therefore, is simple. Certainly, we’re entitled to pursue health care to the maximum of our capacity. I believe it’s a wise idea for employers to offer benefits to their workforce, along with flexible spending plans, medical savings accounts, flexible savings accounts, etc.  Frankly, I cannot imagine going ‘without’ insurance, and feel that health coverage should be budgeted into every family’s ‘fixed’ column, never a variable expense, especially if there are children involved.  It’s imperative to be an educated consumer and in this day and age, there is never an excuse for a company to not have a well-informed Broker on file whose job (and often passion) it is to provide answers to their Client’s employees, save you money and offer as many tax advantages as possible.

America’s health care system is badly in need of repair (such as tort reform for physicians) but still quite a wonderful system, the best in the world, and should NOT be turned over to the federal government. (case in point: Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Auto industry, AIG, Housing industry, Banking industry, VA, Postal system, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, need I continue?)

Might I point out that the 47 million uninsured number that continues to be tossed about is highly inaccurate. A closer examination shows that the number is much closer to 17 million with the balance discrepancy divided as follows:

Approximately ¼ are eligible for Medicare but have not applied yet or are waiting to hear back from the Government; One sixth are illegal immigrants and although they are to be covered under Obamacare, they are not entitled to benefits; the rest are divided between uninsured Adults and Children – except, that children are insurable under State insurance plans, but parents must apply, Many people assume that if they cannot afford insurance they cannot get it, which is simply not the case. It may seem that most of the uninsured folks are in between jobs, cannot afford insurance (and do not apply for federal and/or state benefits) or choose not to afford it for a number of reasons. They’d rather have a fancy car than pay premiums.

For the Obama Administration to haughtily shove the health care bill through the House and Senate is not only Unconstitutional, it aptly illustrates the level of depravity to which these criminal minded individuals currently at the helm of our Nation are willing to sink in order to seize power and demonstrate their intent on monetary and legal rape of our civil liberties and capitalist system, pushing us deeper under a Marxist regime.

Article 6 of the Constitution requires the members of both houses of Congress to "be bound by oath or affirmation" to support said Constitution, yet I’d be surprised if our Congressional or Senate members are even vaguely aware of its tenants, despite their signatures and oath.

How else do you explain their acts of treason? I’ll explain:

Although the health care bill DOES contain death panels, rationed care, massive pay cuts for physicians (enough to probably guarantee that many will take early retirement and far fewer will enter the practice of medicine) questionable legal practices, tiered decision panels by Government employees, NOT physicians, etc., that is not the main concern with this bill and it’s been overlooked by the American people as well as Congress/Senate but certainly not the Obama Administration, who crafted the bill.

IT DISMANTLES THE CONSTITUTION ITSELF.

Through a massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch, in an effort to change everything about our Nation, it unravels the delicate balance of power hand-crafted by our founding fathers and is quite irreversible. Please go back and re-read the last few lines. They are the most critical of this article.

1)     The Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of the U.S. Government will be transferred to the Obama Administration with the signing of this bill. The American people and their businesses will be under Obama’s authority. The odd and ironic part of all of this is that Congress does not have the Constitutional or legal authority to make such changes in the first place.

2)     Links to the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights are provided below for your review. I encourage you to peruse them and become as familiar as possible with these documents.

3)     The health care bill also allows the Obama Administration to access ALL of your personal health care information, financial information, employer records, physician/hospital records, and computerized information.

This is a specific violation of the Third and Fourth amendment.

If you decide to ‘spend’ your budget on something other than health care or” they” disagree with your choice of coverage, under this bill’s provisions, they can impose a fine (yet call it a ‘tax’) and even impose jail time, in direct violation of the Fifth Amendment.

The details are unbelievably complicated but suffice it to say that the Obama Administration has written an extremely offensive bill that is in direct violation with the 3rd, 4^th, 5^th 6^th, 9^th and 10^th portions of our Founding papers.

And that brings me to my final question and thought: One that I’m SURE Obama thought of but I’m not certain anyone else has. If all power is transferred to the Obama Administration, thereby rendering the Constitution invalid, then Obama can terminate term limits for himself…..can’t he?
