Following yesterday’s remarks at the G20 conference, where BHO stated to a crowd of 2000 individuals, (mostly French and German students)
“In America, there is a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world” and that “Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”
Anyone else wondering why Barack Obama did not speak in German or French?
Maybe it is because the only thing he can say when he travels to overseas to Europe is “Merci beaucoup.”
His comments sound like he was denouncing us as ‘America the Superpower’ AND apologizing for our “self-serving” nature at the same time.
Soon, it sank in and it got me thinking about Ms. Ayn Rand and one of her quotes…
“If Capitalism had never existed, any honest humanitarian should have been struggling to invent it. But when you see men struggling to evade its’ existence, to represent its’ nature and to destroy its’ last remnants, you may be sure that whatever their motives, love for mankind is not one of them.”
I realize that America has issues (hey, we elected a socialist - enough said!) truly, though, why would our President stand before a crowd and behave like a Dixie Chick?
We are a civilized people, filled with passion and promise, each sharing one commonality: regardless of where we might otherwise find division amongst ourselves politically, socially, financially, culturally andspiritually. we all agree on one key component to our fundamental nature as Americans and as neighbors…. we desire liberty and we appreciate freedom.
The ability to think for ourselves, make our own decisions, spend and invest our own hard-earned money without outside interference. (look up the definition of capitalism)
A Patriot’s love of liberty and freedom should UNITE us, not tear us apart.
Regardless of whether you are a conservative or democrat, the same rights and principles are being taken away from us as we’re pushed toward globalism. We’ve been painted by BHO to be a “self-serving Nation of cowards” which says little for us to the outside world.
For our friends across the pond, I’d like to set the record straight on a couple of things…
First of all, Obama did NOT speak for the majority of Americans on 4/3/09, in front of those “mostly students” he spoke on behalf of himself and perhaps his wife, whose dissertation from college asserts her dissatisfaction with America as well.
It is clear to me that this embarrassment of a leader not only hates America but feels the need to mock our relationship with our greatest ally, Great Britain.
First there was the gift of the 25 useless DVD’s that were presented to Prime Minister Gordon Brown that will not even work in his DVD player. That was not an appropriate gift .
Next, he sent back the Churchill bust that was sent to us by Tony Blair after 9/11, this did not go over well with them either, both were huge snubs.
Lastly was the ipod gift to the queen, loaded with her photographs, his speeches and Broadway show-tunes.
Frankly, a Sham-wow, a slap-chop and a Chia-Pet would have been a better choice than an ipod of his speeches!
What Barack Obama seems to forget is that America is a land of promise and opportunity, many of it’s current troubles frequently arise out of a refusal to enforce current laws and regulations regarding border patrol, government spending, fraudulent business practices and the mess surrounding our ridiculously strangling Anti-trust laws.
Americans are some of the most generous, kind and loving people on the face of the earth. We have helped more nations free themselves from tyranny than any other on the face of the earth and we giver more generously than any other nation on earth when it comes to charity.
How dare we pursue happiness, how dare we even consider working hard to become wealthy without handouts, to dare to want to pay as few taxes as possible, to be a nation of personal responsibility…
Perhaps we do look arrogant to this narcissistic Marxist Kenyan with a questionable birth certificate.
The more I consider his comments… the more I tend to agree….
Mr. President you were right… America does have a failure and an arrogance about it…
The current Senate Majority Leader, the Speaker of the House and the current White House occupants all easily fit the description.
